  • Yes. Verdå Gardens operates two nursery locations — Oregon and Colorado. Oregon grows our LiveRoof NW and Meadow collections; Colorado grows the Meadow collections.

Because these are distinct climate zones, regional production ensures better climate adaptation, reduced freight stress, and stronger long-term establishment.

  • Get in touch with us to discuss your vision and project timeline - confirm orders as soon as possible to reserve inventory.

Our lead time for fully vegetated products is 12-14 weeks during the growing season.

  • Yes. We offer installation guidance, detailing review, and coordination with contractors to ensure proper placement and successful establishment.

  • Yes. We collaborate with designers to develop regionally appropriate mixes - including native meadow blends, sun/shade palettes, and low-profile sedum mixes tailored to performance goals.

  • Vegetated systems require periodic maintenance. This includes weeding, plant health review, and irrigation assessment.

All of our systems benefit from an annual trimming in spring.

  • Meadow Collection: Irrigation is required during establishment. Long-term irrigation needs vary by climate, exposure, and plant mix. Our native and drought-adapted palettes are selected to reduce water demand over time.

LiveRoof NW: An overhead irrigation system is strongly recommended for green roofs. Even in rainy Seattle.

  • Unlike conventional turfgrass sod, our native turf systems are composed of regionally adapted grasses and forbs designed for lower water use, habitat value, and seasonal expression.
